Hi, Sherry!
You are going to love the Disney Dining Plan. I do not visit Walt Disney World Resort without it. I am able to relax without having to worry about the cost of our meals, as they are prepaid with the plan. My boys are big eaters and the savings quickly add up. The 2016 Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan allows each member of your party age three and over two Quick-Service meals and one snack per person, beginning after check-in to your Disney Resort hotel.
Quick-Service restaurants do not accept Advanced Dining Reservations. There is one restaurant that is an exception to this, Be Our Guest Restaurant. This unique dining location serves Quick-Service meals for breakfast and lunch with dinner being a Table-Service meal. You may make Advanced Dining Reservations for all three meal services beginning 180 days in advance. Be Our Guest Restaurant is a very popular choice and reservations do fill up quickly. If you wish to dine at this location, I highly recommend making reservations immediately online or by calling (407) 939-5277. If there are no times available, keep checking back periodically as other families may change their plans and cancel their existing reservations. I have had great success with this myself by logging in online during the early morning hours.
You may also make Advanced Dining Reservations for Table-Service restaurant locations during your stay if you wish and pay out of pocket for those meals. You may not use Quick-Service credits for those restaurants.
Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Sherry!
~Rachel
