We are going to Disney World!!!!!!! Sorry, I just had to say that to someone because we aren't telling the kids yet. We decided to divide up our time between two resorts and I was just wondering if anyone has done this and was it a smooth transition?

Hi Brenda, Woo Hoo!! Disney trips are exciting, surprise Disney Trips are absolutely incredible!

Yes, we've divided our stay between multiple Resorts on several of our trips. In fact, on my last trip I stayed in 3 different ones. It's a great way to experience and enjoy more than one Resort. Guest Services makes the transition practically seamless. Prior to your transfer, you'll call the Bell Desk to request that they pick up your bags. You'll be given a transfer tag and then you can head out to enjoy the Parks. At the end of the day, simply board a bus bound for your new Resort. Your bags will be waiting for you. Sometimes they will already be in your new room. If not, just let the Front Desk know that you had luggage transferred and they'll have it brought right up.

One tip: It is best to call down to the Bell Services Desk the night before your move and ask to schedule a specific time for them to pick-up your luggage. Be sure to have your bags ready at that time. If you don't call until the morning of your transfer, you could end up waiting quite some time for them to come get your bags. We had this happen once. With a transfer, you actually have to be in the room with your luggage to sign off that they picked up the right number of bags. However, if you'd rather just bring them down to the Bell Desk yourself, that is always an option too.

    Wishing you a Magical vacation,
