We are going to Disney World September 19-25. We have a 2 and 4 yr old. We are staying in the Animal Kingdom Lodge but was wondering if I should get a standard room with pool view or the Savannah view. I wasn't sure if it is worth the price tag.

If you are planning a stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and can handle the extra price I would most definitely pay to have a Savannah view room.  It is so amazing to sit and watch the animals right outside your window just like you were actually in Africa on safari. At night you might not be able to see the animals but you can hear them as they munch their way around the grounds.

If you choose not to pay the extra price for this view then be sure and spend the time at the common areas where you can observe the animals up close. Often they will have cast members who are native to several African countries explaining the traditions of their homes.  It is a wonderful experience!
