We will be at Disney World in September with a 3 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. What restaurants are a must for dinner?

    Hello Lori!

There are some great dining options to consider that would be perfect for your kids' ages. Be sure that you visit Disney Dining online or call (407) WDW-DINE to check for availability and make some reservations for your family prior to your visit.

In terms of Character Dining, my top picks for a young family with a boy and a girl would include:
~ Hollywood & Vine for Disney Junior Play 'n Dine (breakfast or lunch) in Disney's Hollywood Studios
~ Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort (any meal of the day)
~ Crystal Palace to dine with Winnie the Pooh and Friends in Magic Kingdom (any meal of the day)
~ 'Ohana for breakfast with Lilo & Stitch along with Mickey in his Hawaiian shirt at Disney's Polynesian Resort (close to Magic Kingdom and the Epcot Monorail)
~ Akershus at Epcot for Princess Storybook Dining (if you'd like a Princess meal for your daughter) at breakfast time (offered all 3 meal times however for young ones breakfast is the best)

If you'd like to enjoy some great, family meals without Characters:
~ Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom's New Fantasyland
~ Tony's Town Square in Magic Kingdom
~ Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano at Hollywood Studios
~ Coral Reef or Via Napoli at Epcot
~ Captain's Grille in Disney's Yacht Club Resort (a boat ride or walk from Hollywood Studios or Epcot)
~ T-Rex or Cap'n Jack's at Downtown Disney (great place to spend the evening following a day at Animal Kingdom)

Visit the Disney Dining page on the Walt Disney World website, or check out the My Disney Experience App, to view details about these restaurants and their menus.

I hope these recommendations help with your planning Lori!
If you have additional questions, please feel free to write me back. I'd love to hear from you again!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
