    Hi! We are going to Disney World in September, w/a 15 mo old. We currently don't have a jogging stroller, but would like to get one. I know jogging strollers aren't meant for malls, but is it practical for Disney? Or are we better off with a regular one?

    Hi Lori!

    Your trip is coming up soon!  How exciting!  You're right, many joggers aren't suitable for malls, but they are just fine at Walt Disney World (size wise).  You'll be using it in the open areas of the park, and then parking it outside attractions in designated stroller parking areas, so it won't make too much of an impact as far as that's concerned.  You might find it a little challenging to manouver around the stores, but it's not an impossible task.  In fact, there's not a shortage of jogging strollers to be found at Walt Disney World!

    Now, would I BUY a jogger just for a trip to Walt Disney World?  No.  I'd use what I have...BUT if you're in the market for a jogger for other reasons, then I'd get one.  Joggers are nice because they generally sit higher up than many other strollers, thus preventing the "stroller hunch" that can happen from pushing a stroller for long period of time.  Also they are a DREAM to push--our double jogger is so easy to push it rolls on its own (and you very quickly learn to set the brake any time you're not touching the stroller)!  Also, I'd look for one that has a front wheel that you can lock into place (for jogging) or unlock to swivel. Other things to look for?  A LARGE sunshade and large carrying basket.  Sometimes these things are sacrificed on the joggers, but they are a MUST (at least for US) at Walt Disney World!
