We will be in Disney World in September and have tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Is it only the children who dress up, or can the adults dress up too? And do children dress up as characters other than Disney?

Greetings, Linda, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this spooktacular question!

September is a wonderful time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort where you'll be able to experience many new shows, entertainment, and activities through Awaken Summer!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will provide thrilling entertainment where you and your travel party may dress up in your favorite attire and join the festivities. May I highlight Disney's Costume Guidelines located in the second paragraph of the above-mentioned link for your preparation. Creativity is, of course, encouraged, keeping good sense and judgment in mind in consideration of all Guests attending this special event.

Be sure to see Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade with a spine-tingling entry by the 'Headless Horseman' leading the fright-friendly floats.

Disney's Happy HalloWishes Dessert Premium Package gives you the opportunity to view Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade from a special location on Main Street, U.S.A. followed by a private dessert party to view Happy HalloWishes Fireworks soaring over Cinderella Castle.

We thank you for your question, look forward to assisting you in the near future and wish you many happy Disney haunts Linda~
