    We will be at Disney World Sept 5- Sept. 12 - 2019 and we have chosen to the Disney Dining Plan. If we were to eat dinner at the California Grill Lounge(not the California Grill) would that be considered a table service meal and if so will it be 2 credits

    Hi Jimmy, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! The California Grill and the California Grill Lounge at Disney’s Contemporary Resort are absolutely a “must visit” for me during any visit to Walt Disney World Resort, so I can understand why you’d want to eat dinner there during your vacation this September. 

    From what I understand, you’ll be able to redeem two table service dining entitlements if you choose to dine at either California Grill or California Grill Lounge. Please note, however, that although the California Grill Lounge accepts Guests on a “first come, first served” basis, if the Lounge gets too busy, they may refuse to seat any Guests who don’t have a reservation for the California Grill itself (who may be sitting in the Lounge as they wait for their table to be ready). If you really want to dine there, I highly recommend making a reservation at the California Grill itself to make sure that you have a spot!
