Hello all. We will be at Disney World Sept 9-15. Finding Nemo 3D opens in theaters on Sept 14. Does Disney ever have parties or specials at the park(s) for Movie openings?

    Hi there, Damon!

While Walt Disney World typically does not offer special parties or events Park-wide, you can occasionally find some fun surprises in connection with the release of a new Disney movie.

It's possible that you'll see tie-in merchandise or the appearance of a new character at a Park; these are not generally announced to the public in advance.

It could be the case that the Finding Nemo Suites at Disney's Art of Animation will be doing something to commemorate the special day, but that will be reserved for Guests of that Resort.

Your best bet is to stop in Park Guest Relations when you arrive on release day.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
