We will be going disney world for our second trip from oct 2nd to the 9th. I was just wondering is mickey's not so scarry halloween party is worth the money and what would be the best day to go? Thanks

    Hi Jeff!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is my favorite hard ticketed event at Walt Disney World.  The "Boo To You" Parade is fabulous and the special HalloWishes fireworks show is absolutely spectacular.  I highly recommend it.  In fact, my family's trip to Walt Disney World this year is specifically focused on this party.

Many guests, including adults, will be in costume.  Most guests really enjoy trick or treating in the Magic Kingdom.  There are also special shows and activities during the night; I recommend enjoying the special events as opposed to just visiting the usual attractions in the Magic Kingdom; save the usual attractions for another day if possible.

In past years, the party has started at 7:00.  However, guests can enter the Magic Kingdom using only their party ticket (i.e. not requiring a Magic Your Way ticket) at 4:00.  The 2010 dates have not been released yet, but generally speaking, the party is offered on select nights in September and October.  Historically, with the exception of Halloween or nights very close to Halloween, parties on a weekday night are significantly less crowded than parties on a weekend night

If you are interested, just remember that a hard ticketed event is an event that requires an extra ticket to experience; thus your Magic Your Way ticket will not get you into Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
