Does Disney World Resorts offer something similar to the Disneyland Hotel Grand Ballroom Thanksgiving Feast buffet ? Thank you

    Hi Miles,

I have seen pictures and reviews of the Grand Ballroom Thanksgiving Feast and, wow, it does look amazing! There is not a specific event at Walt Disney World like the one at Disneyland. However, I can tell you that the Walt Disney World restaurants go out of their way to make Thanksgiving a special meal.

The buffet restaurants add traditional Thanksgiving fare for the day in addition to the regular cuisine. And most of the other restaurants -- from signature dining to some of the quick service venues -- add a special holiday selection.

My family had our Thanksgiving dinner at Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge last year and loved that we could get a taste of turkey and dressing without missing out on our African-themed favorite dishes. This year, we're booked at Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge. We can't wait to see the chef's take on Thanksgiving fare there.

If you plan to be at Walt Disney World for Thanksgiving, I suggest you make your holiday dining reservations as soon as possible. Many of the restaurants, especially the signature dining spots, book up quickly.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let me know if I can help in any other way. I love talking about Disney dining!
