For 2024, do the Disney World resorts ever share buses with the other Disney resorts?

    Hiya Florence!

Welcome to planDisney! I love visiting Walt Disney World Resort because I enjoy not needing to rent a car and just letting someone else get me to my destination.

In the last two years, I have been blessed with the chance to visit Walt Disney World Resort four times and stay at a different Walt Disney World Resort Hotel each time. During all of these trips I only used complimentary Resort transportation 99 percent of the time. I only had to share bus transportation with multiple resorts when I exited a Park well after closing due to a late-night dinner reservation. This happened twice for me for the same reason. There were very few guests left in the Park but Cast Members were still available to help guests get back to their Resorts. I was directed to a different bus pick-up area than what I expected and my bus was mixed with guests from a nearby Resort. Other than this specific situation, the buses have been running for each Resort without any sharing. Of course, this cannot be guaranteed to be the final answer for your trip but it will most likely be what happens. All transportation options adjust as needed based on need, weather, crowd capacity, time, and unplanned situations.

Make sure to update your My Disney Experience Mobile App before you arrive. So many updates have just recently been announced. This is not a new update but the mapping feature to help you get to a specific destination is so helpful. If you are looking for the nearest bus stop or trying to locate a certain attraction or even restroom you can click on it on the map and "Get Directions." It will guide you step by step with a map and written directions to get you to your destination.

I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to let me know!

    Happy Planning!
