    Which Disney World resort (we would like a unit with a kitchen) is the best for a family with two young girls? I do not care about the cost, location or transportation options. But i do care about the pool area and on-site activities for kids. Thank you.

    Hi Alexandra, 

    If having a full kitchen in your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room is a must, then the only option for your family would be a Deluxe Villa Resort. We're Disney Vacation Club Members and, now that we've gotten used to the additional space and amenities in a One-Bedroom Villa (including a full kitchen and a washer/dryer), we're totally hooked! 

    The two Resorts that I would recommend would be Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village or Disney’s Beach Club Villas. I can safely say that it’s really my favourite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. What’s not to love about having giraffes, zebras and other animals roaming around the savanna right outside your room?? My little guy absolutely loved the Resort’s pool area, Samawati Springs Pool (with a slide and a pretty great “splash pad” area). I also loved all of the activities around the Resort, from special animal viewing, to campfire activities and African-inspired arts-and-crafts. 

    If your daughters don’t care about animals but are really all about the water, then Disney’s Beach Club Villas would be another great pick for your family’s upcoming vacation. Stormalong Bay is the most elaborate Resort pool in Walt Disney World. It’s also one of the most centrally located Resorts: it's only a short walk/boat ride to Epcot or a longer walk/boat ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
