Hi Annie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited to see your Walt Disney World vacation is only a few days away!
I just love that you want to make some magic for your sweet daughter! While I am fortunate enough to be able to eat around Walt Disney World (ahem, all in the name of resEARch) with no restrictions, I pay a lot of attention to reviews of allergy-friendly dining. I am so impressed with how passionate Walt Disney World’s Special Diets team is about their mission to deliver delicious allergy-friendly meals and create a lower-stress environment so Guests can focus on what really matters: making incredible memories. Please feel free to reach out to the
Special Diets team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com or (407) 939-3463 with any questions you might have.
Annie, if you want to sprinkle sweet, sweet gluten-free pixie dust on your daughter, I recommend heading over to Disney Springs for the most decadent options.
Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC gets rave reviews for its vegan and allergy-friendly sweets, including cupcakes, donuts, and tea cakes. I’ve seen their baked goods in the refrigerated cases at several resorts, so be sure to ask at your resort. My other recommendation is
Sprinkles, which serves up amazing cupcakes, and I’ve heard they offer an excellent gluten-free cookie too.
Because I am a Dole Whip devotee, I must point out that this creamy, sweet-tart pineapple treat is gluten-free and can be found in several locations around Walt Disney World, including in the theme parks.
Have a truly magical time, Annie, and I hope your daughter loves her sweet surprise!
