Greetings, Stephanie!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by as you countdown to your magical vacation. It would be my pleasure to assist you today.
Currently, face masks are not required at
Walt Disney World. However, you are more than welcome to wear a facial covering if it complies with
attire rules (no costume masks or coverings obstructing the eyes). You will occasionally see a few Guests still wearing protective masks in the theme parks and resorts, but no one is obliged to wear them.
While certain health and safety precautions from several years ago are no longer in place, let's talk about what you
can expect next year at Walt Disney World. 2025 is going to be an incredible year, so make sure you're following
our Instagram account and the
Disney Parks Blog. You don't want to miss any of the excitement!
Are you planning to stay at a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection? If so, you're eligible for a
complimentary water park visit on your check-in day. I can't wait for this splash-tacular perk to make waves in the new year!
My family is traveling to Walt Disney World this summer, and we're hoping the
new nighttime parade at
Magic Kingdom Park debuts in time for our visit. Also scheduled to open in late 2025 is a
reimagined version of Test Track, one of our favorite
EPCOT attractions.
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are also preparing some new experiences for next year, so stay tuned for even more fun!
I hope this is helpful, Stephanie. Best wishes for a safe, healthy, and memorable Walt Disney World adventure in 2025. Please write back if we can do anything to make it even more magical. Thanks again for visiting us, and we look forward to welcoming you "home" soon.
Happy holidays,
Betsy
