Hi there, Virginia - welcome to
planDisney!
November is one of my favorite times to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort! Although I haven't heard of any capacity-related restrictions in recent months, the Theme Parks do tend to get a bit busier close to important holidays, and Thanksgiving is no exception. When capacity-related Park Hopping restrictions do occur, Guests are always notified via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
While predicting attendance levels is impossible, I can provide some general suggestions. First, know that with the Park Pass Reservation system in place, attendance is being controlled to a certain degree with the intention of avoiding situations where a park reaches capacity and Park Hopping is limited. So, it's always Mickey's goal for these limitations
not to occur.
Second, I can't recall hearing of a time when Park Hopping has been restricted at
all four Theme Parks, so in the unlikely event that
Disney's Hollywood Studios is unavailable for Park Hopping, I would be truly surprised if both
EPCOT and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park would also be unavailable. Thus, you'll be able to use your Park Hopper and still have a magical rest of your day. If Hollywood Studios is the only other park you want to visit, I advise leaving Magic Kingdom Park early and entering Hollywood Studios as close to 2 p.m. as possible.
My last tip is to always talk with Cast Members at the parks. They're usually up to speed on what's happening and might be able to provide you with some critical insight on the day you're actually visiting!
Virginia, I hope you have a magical holiday trip to Walt Disney World Resort -
stop by any time with additional questions for our team of panelists!
