Which of the Disney World Parks and better to visit if its raining?

Hi Bobi! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I actually love rainy days at the Walt Disney World Resort. I've found that the crowds are usually a little lower thanks to the weather, and my family just dresses up in our finest ponchos/raincoats and we have a blast!

I never avoid a particular park because of rain, but if I could choose one park to visit during this type of weather it would be Magic Kingdom Park. Many of the attractions are located indoors, so you stay nice and dry in line and on the ride. You can stop by and enjoy a story at Enchanted Tales with Belle, have a meet-and-greet with Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater, pick up some hitch-hiking ghosts in Haunted Mansion and see what the birds are up to in Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room - all while staying dry! You'll find you can still have a magical (and full!) day, even if the sun doesn't come out for much of it.

If you need some added shelter from the rain, the theme parks sell ponchos in many of the shops. We purchased some in Epcot years ago and we are still using them on our current trips!

Enjoy your vacation in just a few days! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
