We are on our way to Disney World from overseas. I am wondering if the Disney World takes traveler's checks as cash during our visit?

Hi Chun-Chuan! Welcome to our wonderful and magical world of Disney. I am sure you will find your vacation most memorable and exciting.

Disney accepts most major credit cards and they will accept traveler's checks but they must be in US dollars. You must also be able to provide a photo ID when using travelers checks. Hopefully, this will not be a problem for you since you are traveling from so far away.

You might consider using your traveler's checks to purchase a simple Disney Gift Card to use during your stay. This might be the easiest way to take care of your shopping and dining if you choose not to charge it back to your room if you are a Disney resort guest. When you check in at the resort on property discuss these options with the cast members and they can assist you in making this vacation the easiest and most magical ever!
