Hi. Do any Disney world Orlando hotels do just a single room for 1 person.

    Welcome to planDisney Peter!

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels offer rooms with many bed configurations. Rooms vary as some have 1 king bed, some have 2 queen beds, others have multiple bedrooms with combinations of beds and sleeper sofas. Just about every combination!

When traveling solo, I usually book a room at a Value Resort. I am a big fan of Disney's Pop Century Resort. These rooms have 1 queen bed, then a table with chairs (that actually houses a pull-down bed if a second bed is needed). These rooms are perfect for a single traveler since a lot of extra space is not needed. I like having the table and chairs in case I bring back take-out food then have the nice queen-sized bed which is super cozy.

Look through the list of resorts and find one that suits you! There is not a price difference between booking for 1 or 2 guests, so simply find the room that fits your budget and your desired location. Any of the Disney Resorts will offer a magical experience whether you book at a Value Resort or splurge for a Deluxe Property.

Wishing you a magical visit to Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
