    Is disney world open thanksgiving day ? November 25th ?

    Hello Lizette! Happy Thanksgiving! When you are in the business of creating “magic” you can never really close, so the Walt Disney World Resort operates 365 days a year! 

    While there are occasional exceptions for things like severe weather, the Walt Disney World Resort is open for Guests to enjoy on all days - including holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas! In fact, holidays are sometimes the most festive times of the year to visit! Last year, my wife and I surprised our kids with a visit on Christmas day! The holiday decorations which are up in time for Thanksgiving make the Most Magical Place on Earth feel just a bit more magical! This year, Mickey and Minnie are hosting the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event at Magic Kingdom Park! 

    Lizette, I encourage you to check the Disney Parks calendar for updates. While extremely rare, unexpected closures are always possible.
