Disney World often has discount packages that include tickets. If I am an annual Passholder, what do you recommend I do with those tickets if I want to take advantage of the package? Can I use the cost of those tickets to renew my annual pass?

Hello Margy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When I became a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder for the first time a few years back, I initially did so to take advantage of Room-Only discounts available as a benefit to Guests with an Annual Pass.

On the Special Offers site, you can often find multiple discounts for Magic Your Way Packages, Resort Hotel Rooms and more. Usually, when offers are released, at least one of the Special Offers is focussed on Resort Hotel Rooms for Annual Passholders.

The Special Offers for packages that are listed are sold as packages and will not be altered or refunded for any element of the package a Guest does not intend to use. I recommend that you focus on the discounts for Resort Hotel Rooms dedicated to Annual Passholders anyway as they are often very deep (sometimes better than those offered to regular Guests).

The only discount that I have seen during my Annual Passholder membership has been for renewing your Annual Pass up to 30 days after your activation date.

The greatest cost savings for Annual Passholders will be taking advantage of discounts and benefits afforded to Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders.

    Enjoy your year of visits!
