Welcome to planDisney, Maddy! It looks like you're preparing for a graduation celebration next year - what a magical way to close out one chapter and embrace the excitement of the next one! There are so many ways to make your graduation visit special, so let's talk about them all!
Maddy, complimentary celebration buttons are easily available at Disney Resort hotels and Theme Parks, and while there is not a specific graduation button, there is an "I'm Celebrating" button that you can personalize to say "Graduation" or even "Class of 2025" with your graduate's name! When you pick up your button, the Cast Members will offer to personalize them for you with a sharpie marker, but you can also bring the button to the
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom Park or
Disney's Days of Christmas in Disney Springs (or even collect one there!) and have them personalized for a fee by one of the onsite calligraphy artists. My daughter celebrated her Sweet 16 in Walt Disney World this year, and we opted to do the design on her birthday button and not only did she love it, but it is now a treasured keepsake for her to remember that magical visit!
Be sure to also keep an eye on the Disney Store in the early spring before your visit for the class of 2025 graduation Mickey ears or other
graduation gift ideas that will help with your celebration as well! Usually you can also find the graduation ears in the Theme Parks and in
World of Disney at Disney Springs! While you're visiting the parks, you can also have
ears personalized to celebrate your graduate's milestone achievement if that's more your style!
Maddy, as a high school teacher, I have chaperoned our senior class trip to Walt Disney World for years, and it's always such a joy to see the graduates surround themselves with the magic of their childhoods and relive the stories, meet the characters, and experience the adventures of Disney! I'm sure you will have the most magical time making memories on this special celebratory trip!
If you have any other questions as you plan for your visit, please feel free to come back and
let me know!
Ears to the graduate,
Alison
