Hello, we are going to Disney world October 12th. I pitched a child ticket for my grandson who is not 3 yet, is there any way to have it changed to an adult ticket? Thank you for your help

Hey there, Kimberly! Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for bringing us your question today!

I am so delighted to chat about your upcoming fall trip to the happiest place on Earth! You will likely be returning to the magic for the first time since the phased reopening of the Disney Parks, and I would not be happier for you! This is a very exciting time, but also one that requires extra planning, preparation, as well as flexibility. Walt Disney World understands that Guests have plans that are in flux and are trying to make the best decisions for themselves and their loved ones, and as a result are being as accommodating as possible when it comes to making changes and modifications!

Regarding your Tickets, the best course of action will be to contact Disney Ticket Services in advance of your trip to discuss the modification of the tickets. As long as the Ticket remains unused, it can usually be easily transferred and modified to suit your needs.

Kimberly, if you have not done so already, I highly recommend that you check out the Experience Updates pages for all the most current information on reopening procedures, and exactly what you can expect during your trip. Also, you will want to make sure that all individuals that wish to visit a Theme Park during your trip must have a valid Theme Park ticket as well as a Disney Park Pass Reservation for that particular day.

I hope that this information is helpful to you as you continue to make plans, and please do not hesitate to come back to see us again if we can be of any further help in the future! It would be our pleasure!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Clara
