Going to Disney World in October to Celebrate our 12 Wedding Anniversary What ideas do you have to make it unforgettable celebration ? P.S. No Children Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Glenn!

Congratulations on 12-yEARs of wedded bliss! I can’t think of a better place to celebrate than the Walt Disney World Resort. Although not usually known for being a romantic destination, there is definitely romance to be found at Disney! Let’s chat about some magically romantic adventures you can take during your visit.

The first thing that comes to mind is a romantic dinner. How about a dinner with a dazzling view of Magic Kingdom’s nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After? Appropriate, right? A special meal at California Grill located on the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort has the most stunning views of the fireworks and you can even enjoy the soundtrack from the restaurant. Add a personalized cake to be delivered after your meal and you have a night to remember.

Are you a live music fan? Disney’s BoardWalk’s hidden gem, Jellyrolls, is a piano bar where you will be serenaded with requested tunes that often become fun singalongs that you can shamelessly join in and sing the night away. During your visit, you can take a stroll in the moonlight and enjoy the performers or dance the night away at Atlantic Dance Hall.

Check out any special recreational activities at your resort, like a moonlight carriage ride. If you really want to impress your spouse, a vow renewal would be quite the gesture! Don’t forget to grab a complimentary celebration button once you arrive to let Cast Members know you are celebrating.

I hope these tips help you plan the most romantic visit to the place where the magic is endless! Be sure to stop by again if you have any additional planning questions.

    Best Disney wishes, Emille

Hi! My name is Emille. I’m a mom of two and wife to a wonderful fellow Disney nerd! When I’m not at the Parks, you can find me leading worship at my local church or traveling with a prison ministry I sing and speak for. I look forward to answering your questions and sharing some of my favorite tips to help you plan your next magical Walt Disney World vacation! Learn More About Emille
