Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Morgan!
While I love taking ANY trip to
Walt Disney World, a trip with a large group of family and friends is truly my favorite. You're in for so much fun!
I've noticed that certain dining locations throughout Walt Disney World will allow me to make reservations for a large party online and others won't. I checked the date of your arrival, though, and found that you
can get a reservation for 10 people for a fantastic dinner in October at
Chef Mickey's; just head to that location's page on Walt Disney World's website and select "Check Availability". I was able to find the
same reservation using the
My Disney Experience mobile app, too, so give it another try.
Of course, another way to make
Advanced Dining Reservations is through the help of a Cast Member at Disney Dining. Just call (407) WDW-DINE. The folks at Disney Dining are often able to make reservations that were a bit glitchy online or on the app.
Keep in mind that you may be looking for reservations at some of the most popular locations, and these can book up 180 in advance of Guest arrival. If that is the case, don't worry. Guests change their travel plans and park touring plans frequently, so keep checking back to see if the ones that you first wanted become available. Try booking some of those Advanced Dining Reservations as soon as that 180 day window opens up (You can do that now for your date of arrival, and can do so for the entire length of your stay if you are a Guest at a select
Walt Disney World Resort hotel). If a favorite isn't available, be sure to make a reservation for a different location that works with your schedule just as well. Should your original choice become available at a later date, you can easily switch to that location. Win-win!
As you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Morgan, be sure to send us more questions. We love to help!
