We are going to Disney World in November and my wife and I are wondering if it would be worth taking our 2 1/2 year old and 3 month old (only along for the ride) to the Mickey's Very Merry Chirstmas Party?

Hi Peter!  I can only answer from my own personal experience with my children years ago and now with my grandson.  We took him to his first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last year and he was about 2 1/2 and he loved every minute of his time in the park.

The holiday parade is fabulous and includes all the great Disney characters on floats as well as Santa!  Fantasyland attractions are almost all operating that night which is where we stayed for most of our time.  There is also a great dancing area behind the carrousel where the kids can dance the night away with characters who show up or just dance to the DJ's music.

If you hope to do more of the thrill rides then the younger children will not be too happy always waiting.  Determine what you feel will be important for you to see and do that night.  If you just want to do a few attractions and enjoy the holiday entertainment as well as the parade and fireworks then I recommend taking the children or at least the 2 1/2 year old. You will have tired children so I also suggest you don't make early plans for the next day.
