Hi Kristina,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Birthdays at the Walt Disney World Resort are always sprinkled with a little extra pixie dust!
Since our first trip with our girls was when they were 5-years old, that age holds special memories for us. One of our favorite restaurants is
Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot. Watching the fish swim by fascinated our girls at that age. We also recently dined at
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Our girls loved the interactive games during dinner but your daughter certainly does not have to play.
We enjoy
50's Prime Time Café and
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. At 50's Prime Time Café, the girls always get a kick out of the cast member who serves us telling them to eat their vegetables and they live for the milkshakes. At Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show on our last visit, they were captivated by the dancing and singing. If you do this show, I recommend you do the earlier time given your daughter's age. We did the late show on our last visit and it was almost 10:00 p.m. when the show ended.
Kristina, If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, be sure to call 407-939-5277 to ask a cast member to add a note about the birthday to your reservation. And, if you delight in dessert, consider ordering one of the
Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
