I am going to Disney world next year At the AK villas from August 30 to sept 3. My son turns 3 on August 30th. Do I need to get him a magic your way ticket?

    Hi Darian,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I love the resort that you have chosen.  Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - both Jambo House and Kidani Village - are absolutely amazing resorts.  From rich, beautiful decor to exotic animals outside of the windows, these are truly unique resorts.

Since your son turns 3 years old on the day of your arrival, yes, he is considered a child by Disney and no longer an infant.  As such, you will need to buy him a theme park ticket.  You can purchase your theme park tickets ahead of time by visiting Walt Disney World tickets online.  If you have more questions about Disney tickets, you can also call Disney tickets at (407) 939-1289.

Since you are celebrating your son's birthday, be sure to stop by Guest Relations at any theme park and pick up a free birthday button for him.  It is so much fun to hear cast members and other guests wish your little one a happy birthday!

Have a great time planning your vacation, Darian.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
