Welcome Home, Margaret! Thanks so much for making a return trip to planDisney. It looks like you'll be arriving at
Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days, so we don't have a moment to lose--let's get right to your question.
There are so many great benefits of being a
Disney Vacation Club Member, from deluxe accommodations with all the comforts of home to all sorts of perks like Member lounges and exclusive events like Moonlight Magic. The
Member Benefits site is my go-to resource whenever we are heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth to make sure that I'm up to speed on all of the latest and greatest deals and discounts. We often wind up trying a new restaurant or checking out a new shop when there is a DVC discount offered, so it's definitely expanded our horizons!
Unfortunately, Margaret, there is not a way to share your Membership card with the teens you're traveling with. The Disney Vacation Club Member must be present to show their digital Membership card and photo identification. On my most recent visit earlier this summer, I was asked to show both any time I received a DVC discount.
I'm sorry this wasn't the answer you were hoping for! I suggest that you check out the list of available discounts together and plan on some family meals at locations where you can use your Member discount. Your kids can also identify any souvenirs they're interested in and you can pick them up later when you're all together. My teenagers have just started heading out on their own to explore the parks and they will often spot some must-haves while they're out and about that we purchase later on.
If you have any other questions come up during your last-minute preparations, please don't hesitate to reach out again, Margaret! Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and I hope you and your family have a wonderful vacation full of sunshine and core memories.
Stay Magical!
Susan
