Hello, hello there, Adalis! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I'm delighted to see you here!
Ringing in the New Year at the Most Magical Place on Earth is an absolutely wonderful experience, and I'm so happy to hear that you'll be celebrating the start of 2023 with Mickey and his pals. I'm excited to let you know that the
Walt Disney World Resort typically goes all out on New Year's Eve, so rest assured that you'll be surrounded by magic at all times!
Adalis, some of the special entertainment offerings include the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park on December 30 and 31, as well as a special EPCOT fireworks show around the World Showcase Lagoon on December 31. As far as the other two Theme Parks go, Disney's Hollywood Studios will close promptly at 12 a.m. on January 1 and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will close at 8 p.m. on December 31. If you're planning on visiting one of the Theme Parks to ring in the New Year, I would definitely suggest that you pick between Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
After checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, I can see that there isn't any availability left for Magic Kingdom Park or EPCOT on December 31. If you're set on visiting one of these two Theme Parks on New Year's Eve, I suggest that you purchase tickets with the Park Hopper Option and
make reservations for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, which is the only Theme Park that still shows availability for that date. With your ticket, you'll be able to hop to either one of those two parks after 2 p.m. (subject to park capacity). If you're unsure whether or not you'll be able to enter the Theme Parks after 2 p.m., you can always call the Park Hopping hotline ((407) 560-5000) before you make your way over.
I hope that you're able to welcome 2023 with a bang, Adalis! Please don't hesitate to reach back out to us if there's anything else we can do for you in English
or in Spanish. Remember that we're always available and more than happy to help!
Warm hugs (and Happy New Year!),
Ana Paula
