Hi, there!
Melissa, I'm so excited to hear about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My family will be traveling with an infant soon too, so I'm happy to share a few baby tips with you!
You'll be pleased to know there are lots of attractions that you can enjoy with your little one. Rides with slow, easy tracks like Peter Pan's Flight and The Seas with Nemo & Friends are especially perfect, as are peaceful boat rides like "it's a small world" and Na'Vi River Journey. Your baby may even be happy on "dark" rides like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean; we found that our sons weren't afraid of those attractions until they were preschoolers! Other attractions my family will be riding with our infant include Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Frozen Ever After, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, Jungle Cruise, Kilimanjaro Safaris, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Spaceship Earth, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, and the Walt Disney World Railroad.
With larger than life theming throughout both Resort hotels, your tiny Mousketeer will love just strolling the grounds. Both hotels feature kiddie pools, but Schoolyard Sprayground at Disney's Art of Animation Resort is an extra great spot to cool off and explore "the reef" with your baby. Did you know you can
request a complimentary crib for both your hotel rooms? Quantities are limited, so I suggest making the request prior to your arrival!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa. I'd love to chat more about
Baby Care Centers, strollers, and midday breaks, so please let me know if you have any other questions!
Ashley
