Royal greetings, Janelle!
Welcome back to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with another great
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm so excited to hear you're planning a girls' weekend at The Most Magical Place on Earth! I've had the opportunity to visit the Walt Disney World Resort many times with the special ladies in my life, and nothing compares to a girls-only getaway. Janelle, I'm happy to share some of my favorite girls' trip activities with you!
If your group visits the Walt Disney World Resort frequently, I'm sure you've experienced some of the
Enchanted Extras Collection offerings. Is there one experience you haven't enjoyed together yet?
Spanish Mosaic Art, offered at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, is a great way to express your creativity with your friends. (You can even enjoy a mimosa during your painting experience from the nearby Dahlia Lounge for a little extra inspiration!) If you're feeling adventurous, perhaps you'd enjoy
horseback riding at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This experience will take you and your friends on a serene journey on the trails throughout the resort. While you're in the
neigh-borhood, you might consider swinging by
Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for a low-key al fresco dining experience. This dining location serves some of my favorite food and beverages on property!
Janelle, you'll be visiting during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This foodie-favorite festival takes Guests on a cultural taste exploration around World Showcase with representative food and drink from around the globe! The
Disney Eats: Foodie Guide for this festival was just released, so be sure to map out your "must-eats" ahead of your visit! An
Eat to the Beat Dining Package is a great option for Guests hoping to enjoy a flavorful meal and catch a concert (with preferred seating!) at America Gardens Theatre. With the dining package, you won't need to queue up ahead of time for prime seating. Just grab a snack (or sip!) and head directly to your guaranteed seating area!
If you or a member of your group is a
Disney Vacation Club Member eligible for Membership Extras, consider visiting
Top of the World Lounge - A Villains Lair for fireworks viewing. This exclusive lounge serves up delicious drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts, and is always a must-do on my girls' trips! The location features fabulous fireworks views, and Magic Kingdom Park makes a practically perfect selfie backdrop for you and your girl squad.
Janelle, I hope these suggestions help you in preparing for your magical and memorable girls-only vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other planning questions, please feel free to revisit us here at planDisney anytime. We're here to help you make enchanting memories with your Disney-loving besties!
Warm wishes,
Lauren
