We are at Disney world May 20 to 27,( staying at the fort wilderness cabins) We have a 12 year old that has the Starwars weekend at Hollywood as one of his must see items. I am wondering if we would have better luck with crowds friday over Sunday.

If I were to choose, I, too, would select Friday.  First, often many locals will visit on the weekend rather than a weekday.  Secondly, Friday, May 22, 2009,  isn't a morning with Extra Magic Hours for Disney's Hollywood Studios, which from experience we've found are better to skip for Star Wars Weekends.  However, I am a little worried that you'll be visiting the first day of Star Wars Weekend which may bring out  the die-hard fans, but I think I'd still opt for Friday and enjoy being part of the opening and all the excitement.  Make sure and arrive early that day!

Have you explored the website for Star Wars Weekend?  Youtube also has some great videos from past years.  My sons love Dance Off with the Star Wars Stars!

May the force be with your son!
