    Will be in Disney World May 8-13, 2018 and have a 7:40am reservation for Chef Mickey’s Fun Time Buffet at the Contemporary. We are staying at AOA. If we get to the bus by 7 - 7:15, is it realistic to assume we can make it to our reservation on time?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

    OK...you are going to have a "hot diggity-dog" time at Chef Mickey's located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort! The food is AH-mazing, and there is nothing better than meeting the classic Disney characters!

    Traveling from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Chef Mickey's will require you to travel by bus to Magic Kingdom and then either take the monorail or walk from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort. If everything runs smoothly, there is a chance you could make it to Chef Mickey's on time. To make sure you arrive on time for your reservation, I would recommend calling a cab or using Lyft or Uber to take you directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort. This way you will not be stressed traveling to Chef Mickey's and will be able to truly enjoy this MAGICAL dining experience!
