While at Disney world (May 2012), if I "park Hop" and I have my car, which would be quicker, use Disney Transportation or use my own car? If I stay at a Disney Resort, I will not pay for parking, right?

    Hi Robert!!!

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort I would highly recommend using the Disney Bus Transportation to hop between parks.  This will provide you with the smoothest transition between the theme parks.  To say which option would be quicker is a toss up.  While it might be quicker to travel between the parks in your own vehicle, you would have to factor in the transport time from the parking lot to the theme park entrance once you park your car.  The benefit of the buses is that it will drop you off right at the main entrance with a very short walk to the turnstiles.  If you traveled to the Magic Kingdom you would have to wait for and catch the Ferryboat or Monorail.

You are correct that parking is free at the different theme parks if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.  All you will need to do is keep your car decal where the parking attendant can see it and they will wave you straight through.

    I hope this helps!!

    Have a magical trip!!
