Hi Tammera!
Welcome to planDisney!
We’ve made a party night our only
Magic Kingdom time during a Disney World vacation before! So, it’s definitely doable, but there are some things to consider.
First of all, as far as attractions go, I’m happy to report that most of the popular rides will be open to enjoy during the party! At this time,
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment from November 2 to sometime in December 2026. So, I wouldn’t bank on that being an option. But most, if not all, of the other rides should be open. Some of the shows may be closed.
A handful of the attractions get a special holiday overlay during
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Mad Tea Party get festive music and lighting. Jungle Cruise also becomes Jingle Cruise throughout the holiday season.
If attractions are your priority, it’s good to note that during a recent trip, I was able to purchase
Lightning Lane Single Passes for TRON during that time before the party officially started. While it’s not guaranteed and it’s pending availability, it could be worth trying to purchase if that’s something you’re interested in! Just make sure to choose a return time that works with your itinerary.
Finally, while you could just prioritize attractions during the party to try to get to as many as possible, I highly recommend making time for the party offerings! In addition to shorter wait times at the attractions, you get complimentary treats and beverages. Plus, there’s a special holiday parade, fireworks, a stage show, character meet-and-greets, and so much more.
To give you an idea of what to expect, when we went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party last year, we went on 8 attractions total from 4 PM-12 AM. We also stopped at some of the treat trails, met Santa, and watched the stage show, parade, and fireworks.
I hope that gives you some guidance! If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us!
