Welcome to
planDisney, Kristan!
You must be so excited that your
Walt Disney World adventure is just around the corner. May is a fantastic time to visit. The weather is usually beautiful, and the heavy spring break crowds have gone home. You're going to have the best vacation! Let's talk about the current procedures for Disability Access Service.
Because you'll be arriving and departing before Disability Access Service changes go into effect,
you will be permitted to utilize the service with your party of six. Remember to
pre-register for DAS online with a Cast Member as soon as possible, up to two days before arriving in Walt Disney World. Be sure to link your entire party in My Disney Experience and have your daughter present for the virtual interview. Best wishes for a smooth registration process!
I hope everything goes well for you, Kristan, and you have a wonderful stay at Walt Disney World. As a family participating in Disability Access Service, I encourage you to monitor changes to know what to expect for future visits.
This page and
this detailed guidebook are excellent resources for up-to-date accessibility information. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question; we can't wait to welcome you "home" soon.
Have a magical day,
Betsy
