I am going to Disney World in May of 2017, and I already have my magic bands from my 2016 trip, how can I be sure that the bands will work, and what do I do if they do not work when I am on my vacation?

    Welcome back, Jamie!

Thanks for visiting us again with another question. I am so glad you are planning another visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Each MagicBand has a small battery that is designed to last about two years; therefore, you should be able to reuse MagicBands from your 2016 trip. At this time there is no way for you to check to see if they are still in working order until you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. If there is a technical problem, Cast Members are great to offer assistance and options so you can quickly return to your magical vacation!

    Happy Planning!
