I am going to be at Disney world in March but we can only spend 2 days. Which two of the parks would you recommend as must see? I have an 8 year old boy but he is tall enough to ride most rides.

    Hi Chad!

My own children are 10 and 5 and i asked my 10 year old for some advice.  We both agree that you should spend a day at the Magic Kingdom and a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The Magic Kingdom is the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort.  From fairy tale dreams to far away adventures, the Magic Kingdom offers something for everyone.  Generally, an 8 year old child will love Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Monster Inc. Laugh Floor, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  Some will enjoy all of the attractions in Fantasyland while other 8 year old boys would rather do something more thrilling.  Most young boys love watching SpectoMagic, the nighttime parade, and the fireworks show Wishes.

Top attractions at the Studios include the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, Muppet Vision 3-D, Star Tours, and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.  Your son may be a little young for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, though my son enjoyed it when he was 8.  The nighttime spectacular Fantasmic! should not be missed if it is running on the day you visit.

    Have a magical vacation!
