Hi Sarah,
Well, what lucky parents they are to have you as a daughter wanting to make their anniversary at Walt Disney World extra special. I have a few ideas up my sleeve. Hopefully, you can consider one or more of these.
One of my favorite meals in a romantic setting was recently at
Monsieur Paul in the France Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot. The restaurant has recently been refurbished and is very elegant inside with crystal chandeliers, white table cloths and very plush and luxurious booth and table seating. The service is top notch and the food was stellar. We also happened to get a window table that looked out onto World Showcase Lagoon and had a unique view of Illuminations, the nightly fireworks and laser spectacular. Although you can request a window table (we actually didn't and lucked out), it cannot be guaranteed and is based on availability upon arrival.
During our honeymoon, we had tickets to
La Nouba, the Cirque du Soleil show in Downtown Disney. The acrobatic theatrics are absolutely awe-inspiring. I think my jaw dropped more than once during the show. If you opted to purchase tickets for this, they could also dine at one of the many wonderful restaurants in Downtown Disney, such as Raglan Road, Paradiso 37, or Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe.
My last suggestion would be possibly doing a couples massage at
Senses - A Disney Spa at the Grand Floridian. This might be a relaxing way to spend a leisurely day together and let all the stress of their busy days be melted away.
So, happy anniversary to your parents and kudos to you for arranging a special treat for them.
