Hi Ilse! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I love planning my Disney trips. I start dreaming about it from the moment I decide the dates for my next vacation. Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during fall is always great. The weather in Florida will be great, starting to get colder, few rainy days and the parks tend to be less crowded, especially in early November.
If you are considering to include
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on your vacation planning, which I think is a “must-do” special event, you will have to go in October. This event is held at Magic Kingdom Park and is scheduled for select nights, usually ending on November 01. It is a wonderful party, everyone wearing their favorite costume and having lots of fun.
Regarding swimming pools, Disney Resort Hotels and park pools are heated all year round. You can always swim on a colder day but sometimes the air temperature when you get out of the pools can feel uncomfortable.
For extra information regarding average temperatures in Florida and crowd calendars for Disney Parks, I personally like to check at touringplans.com or easywdw.com. They have great information, including best park to visit each day.
Hope this helps your planning. Let us know if you have further questions.
Have a magical day!
