    When we were at Disney World the last time we noticed that a family gets to ride the train, open the park and then ride the little fire truck into the park. What is the selection process to be selected as the family that opens the park?

    Hi, Jennifer! The short answer is: by being lucky! There is no real formula behind the Cast Member choices for these special moments. There might be some advantages to arriving early at a particular location, or acting particularly enthusiastic, but these are "tips" that are strictly the stuff of legend. I'd suggest trying those two approaches and making sure to interact with the Cast Members on scene. From there, it's just a matter of being properly pixie dusted. Good luck!
