we will be going to Disney World on June 6 - June 12. With all the rain that has been falling all over, I am worried that it will be raining while we are there. What has the weather been like and what does it look like for the week we will be there

    Hello, Guadalupe,

Our annual trips to Walt Disney World happen during June, and we always pack rain gear. While it typically doesn't rain entire days, having a storm or two happen each day is a high possibility.  We also plan for it to be hot during June, but we've been surprised with some trips where it was quite pleasant rather than hot.

I did take a look at some popular weather websites, and the weather forecast for your specific dates isn't showing yet.  However, the week before is showing temperatures in the 90s with storms happening every day.

If you have a smart phone, you may want to make sure and download some weather apps on it to follow the forecast.  I really like Dark Sky since it notifies me when it begins raining.  It is helpful to to know this before stepping out of an inside attraction. I'd also encourage you to continue visiting various weather related websites such as weather.com and noaa.gov to follow your forecast as your trip grows closer.

And don't let the rain stop you from visiting the parks. We always just pop on our rain ponchos and keep going. Since many guests decide not to brave the rain, it can often reduce the crowds.

Wishing you a pixie-dusted trip!  Please let us know if we can help again.  And one last thought, be careful with your shoes.  If it looks like rain, I'd stick with shoes that can get wet.  I think soggy tennis shoes are a pretty horrible experience!
