We will be at Disney World June 1-June 6 and plan to spend 5 days visiting Epcot, Magic Kingdon, and Animal Kingdom and one day to relax at the hotel. What days would you recommend visiting which parks to avoid crowds?

    Hi, Zachary! Welcome to planDisney.

How exciting that you’re planning a magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort in early June! It sounds like you’ve got an amazing adventure ahead with visits to EPCOT, Magic Kingdom Park, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, plus a relaxing hotel day to recharge. Let’s help you make the most of your time by avoiding those big crowds!

Since early June can see moderate crowds with schools just beginning to let out, here’s a suggested itinerary to maximize your park time and minimize waits:

    • Sunday, June 1: Start your journey at EPCOT! Sundays typically see fewer crowds here compared to other parks, giving you plenty of time to explore World Showcase and experience headliner attractions, like my favorite: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
    • Monday, June 2: Head to Magic Kingdom Park to kick off the week with a little extra pixie dust! While Mondays can draw some visitors, it’s a great way to begin your Disney adventure on a high note.
    • Wednesday, June 4: Take a well-deserved break at your hotel to rest and recharge. Enjoy the pool, indulge in a Mickey-shaped snack, and get ready for more park fun!
    • Thursday, June 5: Head back to EPCOT for a second day of world exploration and attractions. Weekdays are usually calmer here, so it’s a great time to revisit your favorites and experience everything the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has to offer.
    • Friday, June 6: Wrap up your visit with another day at Magic Kingdom Park. Whilst Fridays can get busier as the weekend approaches, it’s the perfect way to cap off your vacation with fireworks and those classic attractions!

Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the My Disney Experience app for any updates or special events that might impact crowd levels. You'll also want to consider using Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, particularly on your Magic Kingdom days, to experience as many attractions as possible.

I’m guessing you’re not staying at a Deluxe Resort and therefore won’t be able to take advantage of Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. If I’m mistaken, just let me know! I’d be happy to give you an updated plan so you can make the most of this fantastic perk.

I hope that's helpful, Zachary. TTFN, ta-ta for now.
