Going to Disney World in June. Debating the Photopass+, since I am pregnant and bringing a toddler, the only ride included is Buzz Lightyear, and we are going to Ohana breakfast. I am not sure If the characters will scare my son. Worth the money?

    Hi, Melissa!

    This is a great question!

In order to determine if the cost of Disney's PhotoPass+ is the most affordable way for your family to enjoy digital memories from your trip to Walt Disney World, take a look at the Special Offers on the Disney Photo Pass website. There, you'll also find the option of Disney's PhotoPass CD, which removes the attraction and dining photos from your account, but saves you $30 on the purchase price.

Next, take a look at the cost of photos taken by Disney's professional photographers, and determine if you'd order a CD or prints of them anyway. Now compare the cost of the prints you'll order with the presale offer's price, and you'll know if this is worth it for your family.

Keep in mind that Disney's professional photographers are always happy to take your family's photo at many gorgeous, iconic locations, using your own camera, too (both with and without characters.)  While you won't have access to special items such as Magic Shot photos and certain evening photos may look better if taken with professional-grade equipment, you'll still be able to enjoy dozens of photos of your family vacation at this very special time in your lives.

Have a wonderful trip, Melissa! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
