Going to Disney World in July, which waterpark should we visit? Thank you

    Hi Wendy!

The Walt Disney World water parks are practically my family's second home in the summer!  We love heading over for the day to cool off and enjoy some awesome water attractions.  If you are purchasing 1-Day water park tickets, park hopping between the two is included, so you do have the option of experiencing both parks in one day if you'd like.

Choosing between the parks is difficult!  I do love them both, but if you're more into thrill rides, Disney's Blizzard Beach is my pick and you can participate in the Frozen Games during the summer.  Blizzard Beach has Tike's Peak for the littlest swimmers, Ski Patrol Training Camp for the older kids and the rest of the park for everyone to enjoy.  You'll find thrilling slides and relaxing rivers.  Take the Chairlift to the top of Mount Gushmore and choose how you'll slide down.  There is also a family ride, Teamboat Springs, at the top for Guests of all ages to enjoy together.

    Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
is a close rival and they just opened a new attraction this year, Miss Adventure Falls.  My family loves the main attraction at this park, the Surf Pool.  Enormous waves will make your jaw drop, especially when you hear the woooosh of the water when the wave first forms.  Stronger swimmers can swim out to ride the waves back in or you can hang out in the shallow end and still feel the effects of water.  It's such a great time!

You'll have a fantastic time no matter which water park you choose.

    Surf's up!
