We are going to Disney World July of 2012. We are staying for 15 days, but the Magic Your Way Package only allows between 1 and 10 days. What should we do?

    Hi Nathan!

You have a great question! The current maximum days that you can buy on a Magic Your Way Ticket Package is 10 days. So if you wanted to go into the Parks for more than 10 days on your vacation you would have to purchase another Magic Your Way Ticket package or get an Annual Pass. On the Magic Your Way Tickets, the initial days on cost more per day than the days at the end of this type of ticket package so this would actually cost more to do it this way than to purchase an Annual Pass.

So a good basic rule of thumb when deciding to purchase an Annual Pass instead of a Magic Your Way Ticket Package is that if you are planing to go to Walt Disney World for more than 10 days in a calendar year, then an Annual Pass would be more economical for you. For example if you plan to take a trip to Walt Disney World in the same year consisting of 15 days, you would have to purchase a 10 day Magic Your Way Ticket Package and a 5 day Magic Your Way Ticket Package which would be more expensive than one Annual Pass. The best part of an Annual Pass is that you can enter the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and the Animal Kingdom as many times as you want in a year (from the day you bought your Annual Pass until a year later).  Another great option is to purchase 10 Day Magic Your Way Tickets as part of a Walt Disney World package (room and tickets) and then upgrade these tickets to an Annual Pass at Walt Disney World before you use them. You will get the full price of these 10 day Magic Your Way Tickets as a credit toward your Annual Passes and then all you have to do is pay the difference!

I hope that your next Walt Disney World is filled with magic and memories!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
