Hello, we are going to Disney World in July, and we got Park Hopper tickets. One day we may want to go to Animal Kingdom, but eat dinner in Epcot. Are we going to be able to go to Epcot after 2 pm for dinner?

Hello Priscella and thanks for stopping by planDisney with such a great question!

How wonderful it is for me to hEAR you have a magical summer vacation at Walt Disney World Resort to look forward to this coming July.  I can just imagine how super excited you must be feeling now that the summer months are almost upon us!

It sure sounds like you've been busy doing some excellent planning towards your pixie-dusted trip by already purchasing Disney Theme Park Tickets with the Park Hopper Option.  At present, as we continue Returning to a World of Magic at Walt Disney World Resort, Guests with Disney Theme Park Tickets with the Park Hopper Option, plus an all-important Disney Park Pass reservation can visit more than 1 Park per day.

The ability to park hop begins at 2 pm each day and to utilise this Park Hopper Option, Guests must firstly ensure they have made Disney Park Pass reservations for their 1st choice of Disney Theme Park, and then must enter that park prior to hopping over to visit the 2nd park.  At this time, I'm happy to share that Disney Park Pass reservations are not required for the 2nd park.

Priscella, this means that as long as you have made Disney Park Pass reservations, and have entered Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park before heading over to Epcot sometime after 2 pm, you'll be all set to enjoy your dinner plans at one of the many delicious dining options available at Epcot!

It may be useful for you to know that Guests may now use their My Disney Experience Mobile App to gain access to Mobile Dine Check-In at select Disney Restaurants.  This convenient service provides Guests with the freedom to check-in for an already made Advanced Dining Reservation without approaching a restaurant podium.  After checking-in, notifications are sent via the My Disney Experience Mobile App to your smart device when your table is ready and waiting for your party to arrive.

I hope I've been able to provide you with a little insight today Priscella.  If you should require any further assistance in planning towards your July vacation to the most magical place on earth, then please do pop back to planDisney to ask me another question, or get-social with planDisney on our Instagram or Twitter accounts.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
