Jambo, Scott! Disney’s Animal Kingdom comes alive at night now, thanks to three beautiful spectacles: The
Tree of Life Nighttime Awakenings, The
Rivers of Light Nighttime Experience and the Bio-luminescent, alien world of Pandora. The summer nights at Walt Disney World Resort are going to be blockbuster!
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from visiting the Resort so many times is that Disney’s calendars are constantly adding dates, times and shows. I wouldn’t worry that the Tree of Life doesn’t have times for nighttime awakenings scheduled for July just yet, as the show typically starts at 9pm (when it’s nice and dark in the summer time) and continues on every so often until the park closes, or about 11pm. Be sure to check the Times Guide during the week when you enter the park, or upon check-in, ask your Front Desk Cast Member or Concierge about nighttime activity at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom. By that time, they will for sure be able to help you with catching the animated Tree.
You can check back to The Tree of Life Nighttime Awakenings page in a few weeks, when more times are expected to be added. After you view the Tree Awakening, be sure to go left around the corner to watchthe land of
Pandora come alive, glow, and celebrate its planet. Bring your best Na’vi impression and don glow in the dark and bioluminescent gear from Windtraders, as well as celebrate with the Shaman on the Na’vi River Ride. I hope you have a great night at Walt Disney World Resort, and please let me know what else I might help you with. ~ Lindsey P.
