    We will be going to Disney World in July of 2016. My daughter will be turning 18 and I want to do something special while we are there, any suggestions? Thank you!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Celebrating a birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort is just about as magical as it gets; there are so many ways to make the day special and memorable!

    One of the most unique ways to celebrate your daughter's eighteenth birthday would be to book Wild Africa Trek in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This one of a kind (specialty priced) Tour will allow you to get an up-close view of some of the animals on the savanna. You'll cross over a rope bridge and get to dangle over hippos and crocodiles while safely secured to a harness. You'll also get to snack on delicious African-inspired cuisine while overlooking the gorgeous savanna. The view of the animals roaming the savanna is simply breathtaking! Disney PhotoPass photographers are on hand to capture your memories during this adventure and at the end of the Tour you will receive a photo code that you can use to access and download images taken during your Wild Africa Trek experience. It's truly an amazing experience. Reservations can be made 180 days in advance of your Resort stay by calling (407) 939-8687. 

    You could also celebrate with a special fireworks experience! Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party in Magic Kingdom Park or IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party in Epcot both offer preferred viewing for the fireworks shows as well as a delicious dessert buffet.
