Hiya Allison! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! It's never too early to start planning your next Walt Disney World stay! A vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like the perfect summer getaway! And with new experiences and attractions on the horizon, you will have plenty to look forward to.
Walt Disney World is known for hosting many different types of events throughout the year for dance, cheerleading, theater, and many more. Unless it is an exclusive event that a specific park will be closed for, the theme parks will be open to the public during this time. You'll just see an influx of Girl Scouts running around enjoying their time at the parks.
Since you have already purchased your park tickets for later in the week, you'll need to modify them for the other days you plan to go. You might be able to take care of this online using your
My Disney Experience account. Once you are logged in, scroll down to "Tickets and Passes" and see if there is an option to modify your tickets. If so, follow the prompts to add the additional dates that you need. If not, you can
call the Existing Tickets line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be happy to modify your tickets to include the dates needed.
Allison, if you are traveling with little ones, I suggest checking out
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique during your stay. The Magic Kingdom location just recently opened again and is a magical experience for children to transform into their favorite princesses. This does require an advanced reservation, so make sure to make your plans in advance.
I hope this information helps you during your upcoming visit next summer. Remember to check out the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which should be making a return around the time of your arrival. Make sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements.
Happy planning!
Greg
